ON NOVEMBER 5TH “IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE” WILL BE RELEASED WORLDWIDE

On November 5th “IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE” will be released worldwide (Epic/Sony Music) . The much anticipated new album of IL VOLO is dedicated to the Maestro. It takes the listener on an overwhelming journey into the art of one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century, The trio, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble have worked on the music for months.

“IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE” is a record with 14 tracks that retrace the legendary melodies imprinted in everyone’s memory.

The IG track from the unpublished “Your love” is available. This song was presented for the first time this year at the Sanremo Festival where the trio were guests!

One year after Morricone’s death Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca dedicate part of their exceptional career to the maestro, for the deep adoration and respect they have for him. Throughout this incredible world project Il Volo has had the support from the legend’s family.

This journey has not only been celebrated by their appearance at San Remo festival, but also by their concert event “IL VOLO – TRIBUTO A ENNIO MORRICONE”, which went live from the Verona Arena in June on RAI 1. The concert totaled a record winning 25.8% shares in the first evening, and 4,702,000 viewers. The event will be broadcast again this coming fall on PBS. The trio also received the Special Prize for “IL VOLO TRIBUTE TO ENNIO MORRICONE” during the fourth edition of the Filming Italy Best Movie Award, directed by Tiziana Rocca, at the 78th annual Venice International Film Festival.
